Changes have been made to the functionality of SEB mobile app
SEB has made changes to the functionality of mobile app. To give customers the opportunity to view other bank’s accounts in their internet bank and implement other “Open Banking” principles in the future, on rare occasions authentication will be required in the app.
Authentication with Smart-ID or code calculator will be required in the following situations:
- If 90 days have passed since last authentication in mobile app with Smart-ID or code calculator, and in this period payments bigger than 30 euros have not been confirmed;
- If you have made payments under 30 euros for a total of 100 euros (for example, when you have made payments of 22 euros 4 times already and want to make this payment again);
- When visiting internet bank full version from mobile app.
Account statements in mobile app are available for the past 90 days. As always, transactions from longer periods are available in the internet bank.
Changes have been made in accordance with Payment Services Directive (PSD2) directive, which aims to improve money transfers inside the EU and invoke “Open Banking” principles, which provide account holders with more financial transparency options.
