New Service plans will be launched on December 3, 2024.

The pricing of the Bank’s services continues to be structured in such a way that, as before, it is more useful and convenient for customers to use everyday banking services by choosing one of the Bank’s service plans, which is cheaper than using individual banking services.

Taking into account customer behavior and based on customer surveys on using everyday banking services, we update our service plans to include additional services that provide more value and options for our customers.

Business customers using the service plans will pay a fixed fee for basic everyday banking services, and when the number of transfers under their chosen plan is exceeded, intra-bank and standard European payments in euro will cost the same, and a discount will automatically be applied to the particular number (depending on the plan) of further transfers in euro where the number of transfers authorized under the plan is exceeded.

By using the service plan calculator at www.seb.lv (under business section -> daily banking -> service plans -> calculate the most suitable plan) each company will be able to choose the most suitable service plan that will enable to save money on everyday banking.

As of January, based on the volume of services used by a particular business customer, in the bank’s letters and in the internet bank, we will present the most appropriate service plan options for that customer which will fit their current situation and provide benefits to their business in the future.

As of December 3, 2024 , a service plan can be ordered by the company authorized representatives in the internet bank: 

  • If client currently does not have any plan active: Main page -> Additional services -> Entrepreneurs plans -> All plans   -> choose a plan and push “Subscribe”
  • If client wants to change existing plan: Main page -> Additional services -> Entrepreneurs plans -> My plan -> Change plan.

Existing service plans will remain in force until June 2025, therefore, customers do not need to take any action now. Customer must choose one of the new service plans by May 31, 2025. 30 days before the current service plans cease to be offered, we will let our customers personally know which service plan we propose to choose, based on their banking habits. If option offered is not suitable, the customer is always free to choose another Service plan option that suits them or the Entry offer.

The Entry offer is the basis for using SEB services and will be active from May 6. At a 6 euro monthly fee the Entry offer will include 1 account (without monthly maintenance fee) and 5 payments (number of free intra-bank and European payments). All customers without a Service plan agreement will be provided with the services included in the Entry offer starting from 6 May, 2025.

 If you do not want the Entry offer or any of the new Service plans, then you can terminate the cooperation within terms specified in the agreement.

Customers will be able to not to have any of the new Service plans. In that case the customer will be automatically assigned the Entry offer, which is monthly fee for a set of essential banking services that is automatically assigned to all customers who have a current account in the Bank and who will not be choosing any of the new Service plans. Entry offer will include 1 account (without monthly maintenance fee) and 5 payments (number of free intra-bank and European payments).

If you exceed the number of transfers specified in the service plan, discounted transfers will be automatically activated. Discount will be applied from the standard payment fee as per bank’s pricelist (0.25 EUR for intra-bank and standard SEPA payments/instant payments). If you exceed the number of discounted transfers specified in the plan, standard payment fees from the bank’s pricelist will apply.

Business customers who have chosen updated service plans will be able to see the statistics of using the services included in the service plan in the internet bank. Customers will be able to change the plan if they exceed the number of transfers or do not use up their service plan.

The service shall not be provided to non-residents, payment and electronic money institutions, Crediting service providers.

All legal entities with a registered office outside Latvia are classified as non-resident customers.

No, after December 3 you will no longer be able to change the account from which your existing service plan charges are debited. You will be able to change your account when you subscribe to one of the updated SEB bank service plans.

No, after December 3 you will no longer be able to change your current service plan to one of the old service plans. From December 3, 2024 till May 31, 2025 you will need to choose one of the new SEB bank service plans without terminating your existing Service plan agreement. If you have not chosen any of the new Service plans by May 31 then you will be automatically assigned Entry offer (active from May 6) to receive basic daily banking services. If you do not want the Entry offer or any of the new Service plans, then you can terminate the cooperation within terms specified in the agreement.
