Travel insurance provided by SEB credit cards is valid as long as your credit card remains activated. All your trips during the year are insured, provided that the duration of a single trip does not exceed 60 days.
The insurance comes into force as soon as you cross the border of your home country.
If the credit card is closed and not renewed or replaced, the insurance coverage is no longer valid.

The insurance is valid worldwide, except for Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and Israel.

What to do in case of an insurance event?
- In case of an accident, please contact the insurer 24/7 by calling at +371 66888833 (for calls from the US +1954 370 6404).
- You can submit an application for indemnity 24/7 on the webpage if.lv or by calling If Insurance at +371 67338333.
- If you require medical help due to sudden illness, trauma or acute toothache, visit the nearest medical facility or contact the local emergency medical service if the situation is urgent.
- If you require transportation to your home country doe to a trauma or illness, please contact If Insurance.
- If an insured person dies during the trip, please immediately contact If Insurance.
- If damage to health, life of property of a third party is caused during the trip, for example, if you collide with another skier who needs medical help afterwards, please immediately contact If Insurance. Be sure to take care of the documents related to accident, including a written document by the injured party or its representative about the damages caused. Afterwards apply for indemnity.
- If you need legal help during the trip, please immediately contact If Insurance. When you return to your home country, apply for indemnity.
- If at the travel’s destination you notice that your luggage is damaged, ask the carrier for a proof about the damaged luggage. To apply for indemnity, you need to keep the damaged luggage, as well as provide pictures of it. When you return to your home country, apply for indemnity.
- If the delivery of your luggage is delayed for more than 4 hours in the travel’s destination due to the fault of the carrier, ask the carrier for a proof about the delay. If you need to buy basic necessities, such as clothes, shoes or hygiene items, make sure to keep a proof of payment for these items. When you return to your home country, apply for indemnity.
- If Insurance will contact you if it will be necessary to ask for additional documents and evidence, clarify information about the circumstances of the insurance event, the amount of losses and possible liable persons.
