About the service

Linking your other bank’s current accounts to SEB internet bank allows you to manage your financial matters in one place. After linking your current account from another bank, the SEB internet bank will display the account details such as:

  • account number (IBAN);
  • account balance;
  • account’s transaction list of the last 90 days.

All the consents created by customer for using Account information services are visible under internet bank section “Additional services/Settings” -> “Third party providers consent management” or pressing “Edit” button on the main page.

How to activate the service

Start using the Account Information Service

When you begin linking your account from another bank to the SEB internet bank, all the required actions will appear on your screen step-by-step, which allows you to complete the process of linking an account easily and conveniently. In the mobile app, you can add an account from another bank by entering the full version of the internet bank from the menu.

 

Third party consents

Security is an important concern regarding the Account information service, so we wish to emphasize that your data is protected and account information will only be given if you have provided the respective consent.

According to PSD2 directive, maximum validity period of the consent is 90 days and if you wish to continue to display an account from another bank in the SEB internet bank, you will have to update your consent accordingly.

Third party consent management

  • The button to link an account from another bank is visible on the main page and on accounts summary page.
  • The consents information will be visible under menu item Additional services -> Third party providers consent management, where the list of all the linked accounts will be displayed and where you can add, edit, and revoke consents

Frequently asked questions

Yes, your consent to view the account balances at other banks will be valid for 90 days. After expiry of this term, the customers can extend the term of their consent or to revoke it anytime.

Yes. Currently, you may add your accounts to the list of handled accounts at such banks as Swedbank, Citadele and LHV operating in Baltic countries. The recent list of the supported banks is always available on SEB internet bank.

Currently, you may view your accounts at other banks, check account balances at other banks in real time, find the list of payments and other transactions related to such accounts within the recent 90 days. For now we do not offer the payment initiation service from other banks.

Yes, you will view your account balances in real-time.

No, the service is free of charge.

According to the SEB General Terms and conditions, you are not allowed to add corporate customer accounts to the private customer's internet bank profile. Currently, as a private individual, you may add your individual accounts at other banks to the list in your internet bank.

No, the customers will be able to add the selected number of other bank accounts and view thereof on their internet bank profile, whereas the number of accounts is unlimited.

Currently, you will not have a possibility to view other bank accounts by using mobile app, however you will be able to view them, if you log in to the SEB internet bank using your mobile phone (the internet bank mobile version).
