About changes to the SEB Global Chance/Risk fund
We are constantly working to fulfil our goal of creating and offering to our customers sustainable investment products, which in the long term provide capital gain and positively impact the climate. Therefore, from 11 October of this year we will change the name and the focus of the SEB Global Change/Risk fund.
The new name of the sub fund will be SEB Global Climate Opportunity Fund, and its focus will be investments in companies promoting sustainability. Due to these changes the main risk of the sub fund will no longer be derivatives – they will be used only if they help fulfilling the investment goal and provide effective management of the portfolio.
SEB customers do not need to take any actions. However, please note that as a result of the change in sub fund’s investment focus, the securities portfolio will need to balanced, which might create additional costs to the sub fund.
In case SEB customers do not support the upcoming changes, it is possible to submit an order for the sale of fund units until 8 October 2021 at 14.00 (Latvian time).
Customers of SEB Life & Pension Baltic SE who, in accordance with the life insurance agreement with savings in funds, have chosen to make contributions to the SEB Global Chance/Risk Fund (ISIN: LU0122113094) also do not need to take any action. The mentioned date – October 8 – is binding only for SEB customers who invest in the fund using the Securities Account.
