Limited use of SEB cards in Belarus

As the scope of international sanctions is continuously increasing, the use of SEB cards in Belarus is limited. SEB advises its customers not to rely on making settlements using SEB cards in Belarus, since they may not be finalised. Cashing out in all ATMs in Belarus may not be possible as well.

Mastercard has already been blocking card usage in Belarusian physical- and e-shops where POS terminals and other payment solutions of the banks that do not meet ES sanctions regulation requirements are installed. Therefore, it is not possible to settle a payment using SEB bank cards everywhere, and the number of such institutions is growing. 

Since 15 of May 2022, SEB has terminated sending and receiving payments to and from Belarus in any currency, as well as sending SEB cards to Belarus.
