About card transactions to locally unlicensed interactive gambling and lottery organizers
On 3rd April 2019, the amendments in the Payment services and electronic money were approved, implying that financial institutions must reject the card payments, in case the payment is done to locally unlicensed interactive gambling and interactive lottery organizers. These amendments in the law serves the purpose to limit the access for locally unlicensed interactive gambling and lottery organizes. The amendments also implies that for any attempt to make a transaction the financial institutions should report to State Revenue Service.
Taking into account these amendments, starting form 30th December 2019 SEB bank will reject the card payments to locally unlicensed interactive gambling and lottery organizers. The bank will also report to State Revenue Service on these attempts to do a payment.
