From March 19 SEB branches can be visited only with a prior booking
To care for the health of bank employees and customers, starting from Thursday, March 19, at all SEB branches in person service will only be provided to customers who have made a prior booking and proved that they have not returned from abroad within the last 14 days. SEB internet bank, mobile app, transactions with payment cards and ATMs are still working as usual. Consultation about loans and savings can be conveniently received by applying for a video meeting in the internet bank.
Even though working hours of branches remain the same, we will serve only customers who have made a prior booking and have a critical necessity to receive a service that is not available remotely. In addition, the maximum time of the meeting will be limited to 15 minutes. The bank is taking such measures to minimise physical contact and socialization, thus limiting the risk of potentially spreading the virus.
It is crucial that customers book a meeting before visiting the branch by calling Customer centre at +371 26668777. If during the call it turns out that in person meeting is not necessary and customer can perform all the steps to receive the service in the internet bank, support will be provided via phone. However, if a bank employee concludes that in person meeting is necessary, it will be provided at the time and branch preferred by the customer. Branches will work in this format until April 14, during the declared emergency situation in the state, or until further announcements as the situation evolves.
SEB Life and Pension Baltic office on Antonijas street 9, Riga, will be unavailable for in person consultations about insurance and pension topics.
Please note, that the necessary financial services are available in a digital form and transactions can be made from home by using mobile app and the internet bank – find out account balance, pay bills, apply for and receive payment card, sign agreements and documents digitally, receive consumer loan or leasing, as well as discuss important topics about home loan or savings with a bank specialist during a video meeting. Becoming a customer and applying for the internet bank are the only services that require a private customer to visit a branch in person.
To care for the health as much as possible, we advise customers to use contactless payments instead of cash when making purchases at shops. For communication with the bank, we encourage to use video meeting, ask questions in the internet bank, social networks or by phone, and use chat on our web page.
We strongly advise all the customers, who have recently returned from abroad or contacted a person that has done so, to be responsible and comply with the 14 day home quarantine, and receive all the necessary services remotely: https://www.seb.lv/eng/e-services
