Rasa Lapinskaite appointed as the new head of SEB Global Services in Vilnius and Riga
Rasa Lapinskaite has been appointed as the new head of SEB Global Services business services centres in Vilnius and Riga. She will start in her new position as of October 3.
Rasa joined SEB in 2014 and she currently leads the Business Development team at Data & Reporting Services in SEB Group and Business Services. Prior to joining SEB, Rasa has held managerial positions in companies like Circle K and Eli Lilly.
Rasa holds a master’s degree in business IT from Vilnius University and an MBA degree from the Baltic Management Institute. She is also a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, highlighting her skills in business process improvement and change management. After a long and successful career at SEB Rūta Jasiulioniene, the current head of SEB Global Services has decided to leave her position to pursue new challenges outside the bank.
SEB Global Services centres in Riga and Vilnius employ over 2700 employees combined with around 1100 employees in Riga and 1600 in Vilnius. Both centres provide SEB group companies across Scandinavia, the Baltics, Europe, Asia and North America with a wide range of business services.
In Riga, teams provide support in areas such as processing of payments and other types of financial transactions, global custody and sub custody services, compliance and risk management, functions related to prevention of financial crime, development and maintenance of IT systems and other services.
In Vilnius, the main focus lies on development and maintenance of IT systems, including projects related to data science, machine learning and robotic process automation, ensuring HR management and administration services, procurement processes and financial reporting, cash management and other services.
