SEB is changing the ATM maintenance business model, the appearance of the ATM screens will change slightly
This year, SEB will change the ATM maintenance business model throughout the Baltics and hand over the maintenance of ATMs to Brink’s, an international leader in cash management and logistics. The change in the business model will help ensure the operation of ATMs at the highest standard while allowing the bank to focus on customer service and developing new services.
On ATMs that have already been taken over by Brink's, we will display the information that the ATM has been refurbished. The appearance of the ATM screens will also change slightly, however, nearly all buttons and functions will remain unchanged.
The changeover of the model has already begun and will last until around the end of September, with individual ATMs being migrated daily. As a result, the ATM screens will temporarily look slightly different. As soon as Brink's has fully taken over the maintenance service for the ATMs, all machines will have the same screens.
Following the transfer of the SEB ATM network to Brink’s (in Latvia - AS “Brink's Latvia”), the external appearance of SEB ATMs, their number and location as well as the range of services offered to customers will remain unchanged. It will still be possible to withdraw and deposit cash, check account balances, activate new cards, and change PIN codes at the ATMs. The existing limits for deposits and withdrawals will remain unchanged, as will the possibility to withdraw money free of charge from the Swedbank ATM network with a SEB card and vice versa. The commission fee for deposits or withdrawals that exceed the standard limit will also remain unchanged.
If the refurbished ATM is out of order, please contact Brink’s Customer Support by phone at +371 6695 5767.
Please note that the partner’s name “Brink’s” will appear on SEB internet bank’s account statements for cash deposits or withdrawals at ATMs that have already been taken over by Brink’s. After completing the changeover phase, such a label will appear on all ATM transactions.
On the ATMs that have already been taken over by Brink’s, there will be information that the relevant ATM has been refurbished.
