Niina Äikäs – the position of the member of the Council of SEB banka
On 16 December 2021, Niina Äikäs, Head of SEB Baltic Division, was elected as a member of SEB banka's Council by Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB. She will take up her new position on 1 January 2022.
N.Aikas has been Head of SEB's Baltic Division since 1 September 2021 and will replace Jonas Ahlström on SEB banka's Council, who, as previously announced, has been appointed as the new Co-Chair of SEB Group's Large Corporates and Financial Institutions Division.

Kārlis Danēvičs has become Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at SEB banka
In order to strengthen the strategic role and organizational independence of the Risk and Lending Division in accordance with the European regulatory framework, SEB banka's Council has appointed Kārlis Danēvičs, the previous Head of the Risk and Lending Division, as SEB banka's Chief Risk Officer (CRO). K.Danevics will perform his new duties from 1 January 2022.
The Chief Risk Officer (CRO) is appointed the Supervisory Council and will report independently on a regular basis to the Risk Committee of the Supervisory Council. Locally the CRO reports as a Management Board member to the CEO and functionally to the Head of Credit Baltic Division, and will work in close co-operation and alignment with the Head of Baltic Risk Oversight.
