On further purchase of fund units and ETFs if PRIIPs KID is unavailable
From 1 January 2023 investment fund and ETF manufacturers must make available PRIIPs KID (key information document) if they would like to offer products for retail investor in European Union. In case the PRIIPs KID is not available, investment fund units and ETFs purchase by retail investor will be restricted.
If PRIIPs KID is not available by the 31 December 2022, SEB as the distributor will restrict buying of that fund and ETF for retail investor. Customers can sell the fund and ETF instruments without any restrictions.
Requirement about the availability of PRIIPs KID is not applicable in case of the transactions are made under the securities portfolio management agreement (including, using Robo-advisor tool within the SEB mobile app).
When manufacturer of the respective fund and ETF publishes the PRIIPs KID, SEB will remove all purchase restrictions regarding that instrument.
