Information for SEB Life and Pension Baltic SE customers – about partial opening of trading with the shares of SEB Eastern Europe Small and Mid Cap Fund
According to the decision of the fund manager, starting from March 28, 2022, trading with the shares of SEB Eastern Europe Small and Mid Cap Fund has been partially opened – the shares of the fund can now be sold. This means that we can transfer your savings to another fund.
How to transfer the savings?
To transfer your savings from the SEB Eastern Europe Small and Mid Cap Fund to another fund, please submit an application. It is available in your internet bank Life Insurance section, by selecting "Change portfolio structure".
If you do not use the internet bank, you can submit the application at a branch of SEB by making a prior booking.
After receiving your application, we will transfer your savings to another fund in accordance with the current assessment of investments in Russia. We will execute the transaction within the terms specified in the price list. Please note that when you sell shares of the fund, the value of a share is not known in advance. While usually the value of a share depends on fluctuations of financial markets, in current circumstances the value of the share will be based not only on the assessment of investments in Russia after the opening of the Russian stock market, but also on the current restrictions of foreign investors on the Russian stock market.
- If you submitted an application for a change of fund or termination of the agreement, or your agreement expired while the fund was closed for trading, please note that your application is being processed. You do not need to take any additional action.
- If you have specified a Risk Tolerance Margin in your insurance agreement for the decrease in value of the fund and it has occurred or will occur, then your savings will be transferred to the investment fund specified by you in accordance with the standard procedure.
Purchase of shares of the fund still is not available
According to the decision of the fund manager, the purchase of the SEB Eastern Europe Small and Mid Cap Fund shares is still not permitted. Therefore, if you are still making new contributions to the fund, please transfer further contributions to another SEB fund.
You can transfer the contributions in your internet bank Life Insurance section, by selecting the "View agreement" button. Then in the section "Applications and changes" select "Change investment structure". Then the "Change of allocation of further contributions" will open.
If you do not use the internet bank, you can transfer the contributions at a branch of SEB by making a prior booking.
