SEB will launch a new, modern and customer-oriented website
This weekend, SEB will launch a new website in all three Baltic countries – it will allow customers to use services more convenient, it will be more transparent and visually advanced. SEB internet bank's homepage and the internet bank itself will remain unchanged.
“When designing the new website, our main task was to focus on the content that our customers need most and to create a customer-friendly digital environment. With the help of experts, we carefully analysed the content of the previous website. To get an informed assessment, we interviewed customers to understand how to better focus on the user in the new website. This helped us to create a website with a user-friendly design, transparent layout, a richer visual design and a navigation menu enabling anyone to find the information they need within seconds,” says Liudas Rimkus, SEB Baltic Marketing and Communication Manager.
To design the new website, SEB banka brought in experts from the digital agency CUBE and IT specialists from the company ADM Interactive; not only the design and content of the website, but also the security infrastructure, operation and speed have been improved. In addition, the new website will be more sustainable, i.e., the previous 20 thousand pages will be replaced by 5 thousand pages, and the previous 30 thousand pages will be replaced by 10 thousand pages, which means that the website will take up less space on the servers enabling customers to find the information easier and faster.
“Times are changing and so is the way companies present themselves in the digital environment. If we used to say that a company must have a website that serves a business card function, the purpose now has changed. Life is getting faster and faster, customers do not have much time to search for the information they need or visit a branch to get a service. Instead of a business card function, the website becomes a self-service store, which is a modern trend,” says Iļja Nogičevs, SEB Bank’s Digital Development Manager.
Important - the home page of SEB banka internet bank as well as the internet bank itself will remain unchanged.
Due to the changeover to the new version, the website will be unavailable on the night of Saturday, 11 September. Connecting to the internet bank will be possible via the shortcut – ibanka.lv.
